Cookie Policy

What cookies we use, and how you can control them.

Last updated: 6 October 2026

01What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your choices, and understand how it is used. Similar technologies, such as local storage, are covered by this policy too.

02Cookies we use

Chylos uses as few cookies as possible.

  • Essential cookies. Needed for the website to work and stay secure, for example to protect forms from spam and to keep logged-in administrators signed in. These cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited, in aggregate. It sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, which last up to two years. Where the law requires it, these cookies only load after you give consent, and you can change your choice at any time.
  • Marketing cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

03Third-party services

Our typefaces load from Google Fonts. This does not place cookies, but Google receives your IP address when a page loads. See our Privacy Policy for details.

If we embed content from other services in future, such as a film trailer, that service may set its own cookies. We will update this policy when that happens.

04Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the website, such as forms, from working.

  • Chrome: Settings, Privacy and security, Cookies.
  • Safari: Settings, Privacy.
  • Firefox: Settings, Privacy and Security.
  • Edge: Settings, Cookies and site permissions.

05Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if the cookies we use change, and change the date at the top.
