Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal information.

Last updated: 6 October 2026

01Who we are

Chylos (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by AILMS LLC, a company registered in the United States, at 1300 South Columbus Blvd. Ste. 1, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19147, United States. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

For any privacy question or request, contact us at [email protected].

02What we collect

We collect only what we need. Today, while Chylos is in pre-launch, that means:

  • Launch notifications. Your email address, when you ask to be told when Chylos opens.
  • Contact messages. Your name, email address and the message you send through our contact form.
  • Technical data. Your IP address, browser type, device and pages visited, recorded automatically by our server, security tools and, with your consent, Google Analytics.
  • Cookies. Small files placed on your device. See our Cookie Policy.

We do not ask for, and do not want, health information at this stage. Please do not send personal medical details through our forms.

03How we use it

  • To tell you when Chylos and its products launch.
  • To reply to your messages.
  • To keep the website secure, working and improving.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for automated decisions about you.

04Our legal basis

Where data protection laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) apply, we rely on:

  • Consent for launch notifications. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • Legitimate interests for replying to messages and keeping the website secure.
  • Legal obligation where the law requires us to keep or share information.

05Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run Chylos, and only as needed:

  • Website hosting: Hostinger.
  • Forms and email: Ninja Forms stores form submissions on our website, and MailPoet sends our launch emails.
  • Website analytics: Google Analytics, which measures visits in aggregate and only runs with your consent where the law requires it.
  • Google Fonts, which loads our typefaces from Google servers and receives your IP address when a page loads.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, users or the public.

06International transfers

Some providers, including Google, may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on recognised safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

07How long we keep it

  • Launch notification emails: until we launch and send our final launch messages, or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first.
  • Contact messages: up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless we need them longer for a legal reason.
  • Server and security logs: as set by our hosting provider, usually no more than 12 months.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct it if it is wrong.
  • Delete it.
  • Restrict or object to how we use it.
  • Receive a copy in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.

To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

If you live in California, you have the right to know, delete and correct your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

09Future products and health information

Our upcoming Temperament Profiling System may ask questions about your body, habits and wellbeing. Some of these answers may count as health information, which receives extra protection under law.

Before that system launches, we will update this policy and ask for your explicit consent before collecting any such information.

10Children

Chylos is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Chylos grows. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you by email or on the website.
